Guard Dog Mini Flashlight / Stun Gun
May 21, 2010I work at community hospital and two weeks ago an employee was carjacked in the hospital parking lot!
Crime is getting worse everyday, desperate times means desperate measures. It seems nowhere is safe anymore! This is why my friends, and my fellow Nurses, LPNs, Techs, Secretaries and I have armed ourselves with the guard dog mini flashlight / stun gun. Sometimes pepper spray is not enough. Yet this is another form of non lethal protection that if used will not shock back to you.
What makes the guard dog mini flashlight / stun gun nice is it looks like a harmless flashlight.The bright LED bulbs are very bright and if shone in their eyes it could impair your would be attackers vision. There is also a safety switch so you cannot accidentally set off the stun gun. If you do need to activate the stun gun there is a switch on the bottom of the unit that will engage the whopping 2.9 million volt stun gun. The loud cracking of the stun gun means “I just opened that can of whoop ass,don’t mess with me!” The big red button on the top makes the stun gun easy to operate.
What also makes the guard dog mini flashlight / stun gun appealing is it is rechargeable and comes with a wrist strap and black heavy duty nylon case with a belt loop. Charging could not be easier, it comes with the cord that you plug into the end of the flashlight / stun gun and the other end into any 110 volt outlet.(Any household outlet.) The one thing I have found when carrying the guard dog mini flashlight / stun gun is I am paying attention to my surroundings, I have my keys ready so I am not fumbling in my purse making me a target for a would be attacker.
If I was confronted by a would be attacker to give up my keys, I would give them up because I do not know if the would be attacker has a gun or knife. I can replace a vehicle but I cannot replace myself.
The guard dog mini flashlight / stun gun is easy to use. You do not have to worry about batteries because it is rechargeable. It is recommended to charge it for 8 to 10 hrs then if not used then recharge every month.
I do not feel as vulnerable in dark suspicious areas because I am paying attention to what is going on around me! Listen to your gut, if you feel uneasy there is usually a reason. Get off your cell phone!
